The head of James Fisher and Sons’ marine business, which supports with the oil & gas and renewable sectors in Scotland, has stepped down.
St Andrews University graduate Fergus Graham, who is director of marine support division, has also left the board with immediate effect.
The company said full details of the financial arrangements will be disclosed “in due course”. Graham was paid £281,875 last year.
Malcolm Paul, chairman of James Fisher, thanked Graham for his contribution to the company.
He joined James Fisher in January 2017 as the director of the Marine Support Division and was appointed to the board in March 2018. He was also responsible for international business development in emerging markets and the development of the group's strategy in the offshore renewables market.
Fishers’ marine support arm, which provides services including vessel chartering for the offshore wind industry, has bases including one at Hoy, Orkney.
The wider group also operates business including the submarine rescue specialist JFD which has major operations at Inchinnan and Aberdeen.
After graduating from St Andrews in Spanish, Graham began his career as a graduate trainee with banknote printer De La Rue.
