James Dyson makes major investment in Prem Rugby club

  • Sir James Dyson, the English inventor and business magnate, has acquired a 50 per cent ownership stake in Prem Rugby club Bath.
  • Dyson, a lifelong fan of Bath Rugby, joins current owner Bruce Craig as an equal partner in the club.

  • Plans for the new stadium, which will keep the club on its historic site, received council approval last September after years of discussion and delays.
  • This move is considered a major boost for Prem Rugby, following its recent shift to a franchising model and efforts to attract new investment.
