James Corden has returned to filming The Late Late Show in his garage as coronavirus cases surge in Los Angeles.
Back in March, the presenter was forced to improvise and film at home when the first wave of the pandemic struck.
The show returned to filming in the studio in August, but as LA sees another wave of the virus, Corden will once again broadcast remotely from his home.
A message shared on The Late Late Show’s Twitter page on Monday (4 January) read: "No, you’re not experiencing déjà vu.
“With Los Angeles back on lockdown, we’re once again taping the #LateLateShow in @JKCorden's garage until it's safe to return to our studio.”
Fellow late night host Jimmy Kimmel is also filming remotely again, while the New York-based late-night shows, including The Tonight Show, The Late Show and Late Night with Seth Meyers, are still able to film in their socially distanced studios.
Los Angeles County is in the grip of a deadly wave of coronavirus and, on Sunday (3 January), the city said there had been 12,488 new daily cases.
More than 10,000 people have died with the virus since the pandemic began, official figures show, with Mayor Eric Garcetti saying that a person is being infected every six seconds.
The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health has urged the film and TV industry to pause production amid the latest surge.
