James Corden in rare sighting with lookalike kids after son convinced him to quit US show

James Corden has been pictured enjoying some quality time with his two oldest children at an NBA game on Tuesday.

The Late Late Show host, 44, treated his son Max, 11, and daughter Carey, eight, to court-side seats at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles as the Clippers faced the Lakers last night.

Presenter James beamed as he watched his children stand up and cheer as the game took place – with Max and Carey snapped with wide smiles on their faces while holding their arms up in the air.

Elsewhere in the game the father, who is also dad to five-year-old Charlotte, and his two children were seen engrossed in the goings on as they all watched while dad James and Carey pointed at the court.

Another snap saw dad James smiling while his two children were stood up and dancing with their arms held high once again and even waving their arms from side to side.

While at the game, James also took the time to pose with Kris Jenner's boyfriend Corey Gamble and NBA legend Dwyane Wade as they chatted courtside at the game.

James wore a burgundy zip jacket with a black T-shirt and a pair of dark blue jeans to the game while his daughter Carey wore a navy blue top with little white flowers on and a pair of black jeans.

The Late Late Show host's son Max, wore a colour block knitted jumper and pair of black and white checked trousers to the event.

It comes just a few days after James revealed how a conversations with his son caused him to decide to leave The Late Late Show.

Gavin and Stacey writer James announced his decision to leave the show as the lead presenter in April last year. His last show is expected to be this summer.

He said at the time: " When I started this journey it was always going to be just that, it was going to be a journey, an adventure.

"I never saw it as my final destination," he explained.

Now, James has since explained that a conversation with his son caused him to re-think his career choices.

Sitting down with actress Drew Barrymore on The Drew Barrymore Show, he recalled a conversation with his son as he was asked when he knew it was time to walk away.

"Look it's not easy to walk away from something that is so..." James emotionally said. "I'll never work in a better environment than the one I work in now, nothing about leaving the show is to do with not enjoying it, I love it."

He added: "But the truth is, it became a very easy decision because I always knew it was an adventure and I never, ever considered it to be the final destination.

Emotional dad-of-three James said leaving the show would be sad but was 'absolutely right' for himself and his family (Getty Images)

"And when I was shooting the show Mammals, that you are so lovely about, one day I was filming on a Sunday and I came downstairs – it was about 6am – and my son, who was about 10 at the time, was sat on the stairs and he said: 'Are you working today?'

"And he said: 'But it's Sunday," and I said: 'I know buddy, but the schedule is so all over place, we only have a tiny amount of time before we have to go back and do the show' and his face just kind of dropped.

"And I got in the car and I called my wife Jules and I said: 'I've realised best case scenario, we have six more summers where Max is like even remotely wants to be around us and I cannot waste another one."

He added: "So really the choice was, 'well if I want to do this other work that cannot be at the expense of our children, our family."

James then confessed: "I will be a mess on that last show, I will cry my eyes out but I will know in my core but the best thing for me and the best thing for us as a family is to put down some roots in London and it feels absolutely right in every single way."
