Fans were left claiming that they'd just witnessed the biggest upset in sporting history after amateur James Cahill knocked five-time champion Ronnie O'Sullivan out of the World Snooker Championship on Tuesday.
Twenty-three-year-old Cahill from Blackpool - who is the nephew by marriage of snooker legend Stephen Hendry - led 5-4 going into the second session of the first round tie on Tuesday morning.
But with many expecting O'Sullivan to mount a fightback, Cahill held him off to despite the heavy favourite pulling the score back to 8-8.
O'Sullvan had been as short as 1/50 before the match started, while Cahill has seen his odds to win the tournament shorten dramatically from 2000/1 to 66/1.
