James Bond's Daniel Craig set for Hollywood Walk of Fame star next to Roger Moore

Daniel Craig is set to be awarded with a coveted Walk Of Fame star on Hollywood Boulevard.

The James Bond actor, 53, will have his star unveiled on Wednesday, October 6th - two days before his final Bond flick debuts in American cinemas.

As die-hard Bond fans come to terms with the fact No Time To Die will be Daniel’s last performance in the franchise, Hollywood is preparing to pay tribute to his iconic legacy.

The British actor’s star will be placed next to former 007 Roger Moore.

And if that wasn’t enough, Daniel is officially the fourth Bond actor to receive the honor following Moore, David Niven and Pierce Brosnan.

Hollywood Walk of Fame producer Ana Martinez dubbed the actor a ‘British cultural icon’ as she unveiled the exciting news ahead of No Time To Die’s release.

"Daniel Craig is a British cultural icon, as is James Bond, the man he has portrayed in five 007 films, she said in a statement.

"We are thrilled to place his terrazzo Walk of Fame star next to the star of another famed actor who also portrayed James Bond, Roger Moore."

While he’s become a household name since playing the famous spy, Daniel has appeared in several Hollywood blockbusters.

He delivered incredible performances in movies including Knives Out, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Munich, Logan Lucky, Enduring Love, and Infamous.

Daniel recently opened up about his first audition for the Bond movies.

The humble star initially thought he was being called in to read the lines for a smaller role – and was left surprised when he realised the director wanted him to play 007.

The much-loved actor went on to star as Bond in five films – taking over from Irish actor Pierce Brosnan who had played the spy since 1995.

He stunned audiences with his debut in Casino Royale in 2006 and did the same with Quantum of Solace in 2008.

Then came Skyfall in 2012 and Spectre in 2015.
