'James Bond' in flash Aston Martin pulled over by cops after being caught at over 90mph on Scots road

Cops have warned that 'even James Bond has to abide by speed limits' after pulling over a top of the range Aston Martin for speeding on a Scots road.

The flash British supercar was clocked at 91mph on the A92 in Fife yesterday, with some online joking he might lose his licence (to kill).

In a social media post, Fife police wrote that the driver, who is not believed to be an Mi6 agent, had been reported to the procurator fiscal.

It read: "Even James Bond has to abide by the speed limits.

"Fife Roads Police stopped this speeding Aston Martin on the A92 today. Driver reported to (the crown office) .

"Remember at this time of year with low sun, shorter days and inclement weather accidents happen easily.

Cheeky locals commented that the legendary super spy might been in trouble from the bosses in London.

One wrote: "007 License down the pan."

Another added: "I'm sure M will sort him out."

Another added: "Please tell me when you approached the car you asked who he thought he was?"
