The next instalment of the James Bond franchise has had its release date pushed back again, its producers announced tonight.
No Time to Die is set to be Daniel Craig's final outing as 007.
The film was originally scheduled to be released this spring but saw its cinema release date pushed back to November due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
However, in a statement tonight, its producers said it would be postponed by another five months.
A statement on Twitter said: “MGM, Universal and Bond producers, Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, today announced the release of NO TIME TO DIE, the 25th film in the James Bond series, will be delayed until 2 April 2021 in order to be seen by a worldwide theatrical audience.
“We understand the delay will be disappointing to our fans but we now look forward to sharing NO TIME TO DIE next year.”
