James Bond creator's niece wants Cillian Murphy to take over the role

James Bond creator’s great niece has said that Cillian Murphy should be considered as a replacement for Daniel Craig in 007.

Bond creator Ian Fleming’s niece has said that the Irish actor should be a contender after the latest film is finished.

Hermione 'Hum' Fleming told Hello!: “"Idris Elba would make an awesome, sexy, bad-ass Bond. So would Richard Madden from 'The Bodyguard' and Cillian Murphy from 'Peaky Blinders'."

Daniel Craig has been confirmed for the next Bond film which is said to be his last one.

The newest film is also yet to have a title.

Fleming also spoke of the possibility of a female Bond saying: "I'm not convinced a female Bond would work. My great-uncle created Bond as a man."
