The set photos from Bond 25 may have shown us something surprising.
Production on the 25th installment of the James Bond series has begun in Norway with director Cary Joji Fukunaga and the James Bond 25: First set photos reveal masked villain chasing girl across ice as filming begins present a chilling scene.
Filming in icy Nittedal, we can see a masked villain - with a slight resemblance to the Phantom of the Opera - chasing down a young blonde girl in a very colourful rainbow coat.
Stars Daniel Craig and Lea Seydoux do not appear to have been present for the shoot, and it is currently unknown who the actors are or who they are portraying.
It would appear the scene films her falling through ice and him attempting to pull her out, with further special effects to be added in post-production.

A few fans have theorised the scene with an iced-over lake is a pre-title sequence, and with Bond seemingly absent, could the scene represent a flashback? It seems likely as Daniel Craig wasn't filming.
We may be reading too much into this but as we know that Lea Seydoux is due to return as SPECTRE Bond girl Dr. Madeleine Swann in Bond 25 and her character's childhood was connected to terrorist organizations thanks to her father Mr. White (Jesper Christensen), could this be connected to her past?

The film will also star Ralph Fiennes as M, Naomie Harris as Eve Moneypenny and Ben Whishaw as Q.
We can probably also expect Billy Magnussen to portray a CIA agent and it is likely that Rami Malek is the Bond villain of the film.
Bond 25 is released in UK cinemas on April 8, 2020.
