James Arthur to play an open air summer gig at Chepstow Racecourse

James Arthur will perform a big open air summer gig in Wales in 2020, at Chepstow Racecourse.

The X Factor winner, from the 2012 series, is one of only 10 artists worldwide to hit one billion streams on Spotify and fans will be able to hear why when he performs in Chepstow on Saturday, June 16.

Tickets for the show will go on sale on Friday, December 13 at 10am and can be bought from Ticketmaster.

He is the latest in a long line of musicians to perform at Chepstow Racecourse and previous gigs include those by Madness and All Saints.

The Middlesborough singer has 22 million monthly listeners on Spotify and has had more than 1.5 billion views on YouTube. His 2016 album, Back From The Edge, went straight to No.1 in the UK charts and has gone multi-platinum worldwide.

His recent duet with Anne-Marie, Rewrite The Stars, from The Greatest Showman Reimagined has been streamed 251 million times.

His third album, YOU, features the hit singles Naked, Falling Like The Stars and Empty Space, alongside new songs with features from Travis Barker from Blink 182 and Adam Lazzara from Taking Back Sunday.
