A Co Antrim singer has been left pinching herself after one of her favourite singers gave her the thumbs up.
Erin Fullerton's cover of James Arthur's Quite Miss Home caught the attention of the X Factor winner who shared it with his two million followers with the caption "Love this!"
It was quite the boost for Erin who lives in Belfast and has been a fan since she was a teenager.
The 21-year-old told Belfast Live: "I have been a massive fan of James Arthur since his first X Factor audition back in 2012 - I was 13 at the time.
"Some voices just touch your soul and his instantly did that for me.
"That was around the same time that I started writing my own songs and I can genuinely say that his music greatly inspired my own musical style.
"Waking up to see that James had retweeted my video was such a surreal moment.
"To be recognised by someone that I’ve admired and looked up to for so long is such an encouraging feeling and something I will never forget.
"I have tickets to see him perform in Dublin 3Arena March 2020 so will have to sing along extra loudly when he performs that particular song!"
Erin is currently recording her debut EP, with her single The Best Thing available to stream on Spotify.
