James Argent was left in the rain when bouncers apparently failed to recognise who he was.
Everyone has been blown away by Arg's transformation after he lost two-and-a-half stone following a gastric sleeve operation in recent weeks.
The star had a gig with The Arg Band at the Sellebrity football event hosted at the Aston Gate Stadium over the weekend.
At first it was said the TV personality had to explain who he was to security so he could go ahead into the stadium ahead of his performance, according to The Sun.
But a source close to Arg divulged the star was being pointed in the direction of the celebrity VIP entrance.
A source told The Mirror: "Arg wasn’t rejected at all and entered the stadium completely fine.
"He featured on all the posters for promoting the event. The marshals were joint pointing the celebs VIP entrance to him."
He had been running late for a sound check with The Arg Band.

Reality star Dan Osborne, actor Jake Wood and singer James Arthur were playing on the pitch at the Sellebrity football event.
The Mirror reached out to James "Arg" Argent's representatives for further comment.
Of course Arg was delighted to return to the stage and pick up the microphone once again.
The reality star started chasing his dreams of becoming a singer before the COVID-19 pandemic brought the entertainment industry to a halt.

Delighted to be back, he told his followers he was "living my best life" in a post over the weekend.
He wrote: "LIVING MY BEST LIFE. Nothing makes me happier than being back performing with @theargband.
"It’s so much fun & means the world to me. Any type of Music, Any type of Event & We will get the party started!"

Arg has returned to work and hopes to get bookings for his band at any type of event from weddings to football matches.
Having completely turned his life around, he had a spring in his step.
Doctors issued the star a stark warning after he tipped the scales at nearly 27 stone.
Recently, Arg gushed over the results of the surgery just weeks afterwards.
He told The Sun : "I'm so pleased sitting here today, two-and-a-half weeks after the operation.
"Weight is coming off each and every day. I'm feeling happier and healthier. I'm starting to feel like my old self again, this is really going to be a positive new chapter for me.
"Since I started the pre-op diet before the surgery. I’ve lost already two-and-a-half stones, which is a great start. I'm starting to recognise myself in the mirror again, my looks are coming back."
