James Argent says he's on the road to recovery and now 'positive' about the future

James Argent says he is finally feeling positive about the future in an emotional Instagram message.

He urged his fans to not "suffer alone" before he gave heartfelt thanks to his addiction team for their support as he looks to get his life back on track.

Arg is going through a tough time as he battles to lose weight and get his body and mind focused again.

But in an upbeat message, he reported that he is in a really good place.

The TOWIE star took to social media to give a special mention to his professional support team.

They are helping him with his recovery and fans will be thrilled to hear that it's a case of so far, so good for the reality favourite.

He said in the video: "Thank you to everyone for your continued support, it means so much.

"A special shout out to Nick and his team at Verve Health for helping me on this path of my recovery journey.

"I know you've been worried but I can honestly say I feel so much more positive about the future and I feel so much better in myself."

He added: "That is because I have had day to day help.

"They have helped me in what will be a special journey for me."

The star ballooned to over 26 stone when he stopped exercising in lockdown, replacing his fitness plans with fast food.

James previously admitted his cocaine dependency – and told the world how he suffered two near fatal overdoses.

Back in 2019, the star was on the edge and he was eventually 'saved' by on-off girlfriend Gemma Collins.

A source told The Sun Online: “James was under a dark cloud recently and has made the brave decision to enter back into a programme to help him get back on track.

"He has been attending regular therapy and secondary care at an outpatient treatment facility in London."
