James Argent declares he's 'feeling good' as he performs in Spain post-conviction for 'pushing ex down stairs'

James Argent has reportedly reassured fans that he is “feeling good” as he took to the stage in Costa del Sol, Spain, not far from where he attacked his ex, Nicoline Arthursson.

The TOWIE star received a suspended jail sentence earlier this month following his arrest for pushing Nicoline down a flight of stairs during an argument at her apartment in Costa del Sol last Monday while trying to force her out of the front door.

The ITV personality was arrested for domestic violence, given a six-month suspended prison sentence and a two-year restraining order.

Despite his charge, the reality TV star appeared upbeat as he prepared for his performance at Olivia's La Cala restaurant.

According to The Mirror, the 37-year-old arrived at the venue looking initially downcast but soon warmed up, engaging with the crowd before his set.

He was overheard telling punters he was “feeling good and looking forward to getting on stage.”

Later, he shared a video on his social media showing himself dancing and singing with the crowd, clearly in high spirits.

The ITVBe star was introduced on stage by the venue’s owner, former TOWIE star Elliot Wright, who spoke of their long-standing friendship.

Elliot, cousin of Mark Wright, shared an emotional message, saying: “We’ve been through so many trials and tribulations – when I got burnt down, he was there for me.

“He’s been there for me and that’s what friendship is. You stay strong together no matter what happens.

“I just want to say I love you – you’re one of my best friends – so get up here and make it a proper party.”

As the crowd cheered, the pals reportedly shared a hug before he began his performance.

James also expressed gratitude to his friend and fellow performer, Albie Davies, for his support following the incident with Nicoline.

On Thursday, James posted a photo of himself with Albie on Instagram Stories, thanking him for being “by my side” during the difficult time.

Along with the photo, James promoted their upcoming gig, writing: “Lucky to have @albiedavies by my side the next 2 days @olivias_la_cala tonight.”

Earlier this week, prosecutors have revealed the extent of the injuries model Nicoline sustained following an incident between the pair earlier this month.

Court documents seen by Metro.co.uk ahead of a trial where James admitted to a domestic violence charge detail multiple injuries to Nicoline’s neck, arms, hand, and leg.

Argent was arrested shortly after the incident at a beach-front property on May 5 and kept in a cell for several hours.

He admitted a domestic violence charge when he was brought before a judge at Fuengirola’s Court of Violence Against Women. He was also told to complete a “resocialisation course in the field of gender violence”.
