James 'Arg' Argent has gushed over his new girlfriend, revealing how he wooed her through the power of cinema.
In the summer the former Towie star, 34, was spotted smooching his 18-year-old Italian girlfriend Stella Turian, who is 16 years younger than him.
Things are hotting up for the pair, who bonded over their love of singing, and they have gone on holiday together, met each other families, and plan on spending Christmas together.
Speaking about his girlfriend, Arg described how supportive she is and knows all about his struggles in the past, which include coming close to death twice when he overdosed on drugs.
The wedding singer described how lucky he felt, and showered his love with praise, saying: “Stella is extremely intelligent, very talented and she’s fluent in four languages, including English, which is lucky, as my Italian’s not great, although it’s improving.
Lifting the lid on wooing Stella, the TV star told The Sun: “I’m lucky enough to have a home cinema — there have to be some perks to being in showbiz — and I’m obsessed with Mafia films, so I made her watch Goodfellas and some Sopranos and Casino too.”
Arg explained the pair met at a friend's wedding in Mykonos in June, and afterwards, exchanged messages about singing and shared clips of their performances with eachother.
In September, Arg flew out to see Stella, after developing feelings for each other.
He said: “The second we saw each other that day we realised there was an amazing link between us and that we would like to be more than friends, and it’s just grown.”
Earlier this month it had been reported that the pair were planning on moving in with each other, but he shout down those rumours, explaining she's busy in Italy, and he's in London and Essex.
In October Arg was reportedly introduced to Stella's family while on holiday in the Italian town of Positano on the luxurious Amalfi Coast, which is known for its celebrity sun soakers and picturesque scenery.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, a source said: "James has totally fallen for Stella and she adores him too.
"James and Stella both lead busy lives, but they are keen to spend as much time as possible with one another and are planning a holiday, probably to Dubai, before the end of the year."
His meeting with Stella's nearest and dearest comes after they enjoyed a trip to Marbella together, where James often treats holiday goers to a performance.
Some eyebrows have been raised at the pair's age gap, but singer Peter Andre, who is 16 years older than his wife, defended the pair.
Peter said: "Age is a different thing to different people, on paper things can look a certain way but I think it depends how you are with the person."
