Jameis Winston, Todd Gurley make young patient’s day over FaceTime

Todd Gurley and Jameis Winston are two very popular players in the NFL as the faces of the Rams and Buccaneers. They’re the favorite players of fans in L.A. and Tampa Bay with No. 30 and 3 jerseys seen all over the cities.

There are fans of the opposing team in each city, too. This weekend, Winston met a Rams fan in Tampa Bay when he was visiting AdventHealth Tampa, making the days of kids on the inpatient floor.

One kid was a fan of the Rams, so to make his day, Winston FaceTimed his friend Gurley so the youngster could talk to the two-time All-Pro running back.

This is my favorite photo from yesterday. Jameis Winston @jaboowins3 and his teammates visited every kid on the inpatient floor of AdventHealth Tampa. When he walked in this room, he asked the kid which sports team is his favorite. The kid replied "LA Rams" and Jameis laughed and replied that he's more of a Bucs fan. He pulled out his phone and facetimed his friend Todd Gurley, Running Back for the LA Rams, and introduced them digitally. This photo captures that moment. Thank you Jameis Winston for bringing your teammates to Kids, Cars & Stars and spending your Saturday visiting kids in the Advent Health Hospital and giving these kids an unforgettable experience.

Gurley and Winston have always given back to their respective communities, and this is just another example of them going out of their way to help a young kid who could use a memorable moment like this. It was a great thing Winston did to make the day of the young Rams fan.
