Jamal Murray saved the Denver Nuggets’ season with a ridiculous fourth quarter

Just when it looked like the Denver Nuggets might drop another game at home to the San Antonio Spurs and fall behind the series 0-2, Jamal Murray came to the rescue and singlehandedly led his team to a huge comeback victory to even things up.

Murray had 21 fourth-quarter points and was a nearly perfect 8-for-9 from the floor as the Nuggets, who trailed by as many as 19 points in the second half, ran away with a 114-105 win.

Murray had just three points in the first three quarters and fans were wondering if he was ever going to get things going.

And then boy did he:

These clutch threes couldn’t have come at a better time:

It was the biggest fourth-quarter performance in the NBA playoffs since 2014:

Murray said after:

It’s nice to have someone care about you.

Now this series is tied and it has all the makings of being a great one.

Thanks to Murray’s fourth quarter, of course.
