Jamal Adams shines in Week 12 in best game yet as a Seahawk

The Seattle Seahawks came away with a road win in Philadelphia Monday night, beating the Eagles in prime time to the tune of 23-17. Lots of credit goes to the defense, and safety Jamal Adams in particular, for getting the job done.

“It was his best game and this was the best he’s felt,” coach Pete Carroll said during his interview on 710 ESPN Seattle Tuesday morning. “He just was able to play with his right shoulder and it just made a difference. He was balanced out in his tackling and he fit into things really well. He was really aggressive in the backfield on a number of runs and he was just really having fun playing football. He had a blast tonight.”

Adams finished the night as the Seahawks defensive leader, logging nine tackles, one tackle for loss and a sack.

“This is just an indication of where it’s going and he’s going to continue to get better, too,” Carroll continued. “And that’s really exciting.”
