New York Jets safety Jamal Adams has been fined $21,000 for a roughing the passer penalty against Browns QB Baker Mayfield on Monday night. While that information has not been made official just yet, Adams revealed his fine with an angry, profanity-laden tweet.
To say Adams is not happy about the fine is an understatement…
Mayfield seemed no worse for the wear and actually gave Adams a pat on the helmet after the hit.
No word just yet on if Myles Garrett will be fined for either of his roughing the passer infractions on Monday Night Football. Fines typically don’t get released publicly until Saturday morning.
