Glasgow Bridge (Jamaica Bridge) has been fully reopened this morning after being closed due to a police incident.
The route - just off Jamaica Street - from the city centre to the Gorbals and Tradeston was shut off completely to pedestrians and drivers at around 11.15pm last night (Sunday) and diversions were in place.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing a large police presence on the bridge, as well as "a number of ambulances and fire brigades" at the scene.
The road was operating as normal by around midnight.
A Council traffic statement read: "Due to a police incident, Glasgow Bridge is closed to all traffic and pedestrians until further notice."
