Jalen Reagor on playing with Carson Wentz: His name speaks for itself

Howie Roseman and the Philadelphia Eagles set out to deliver Carson Wentz a big-play wideout in the 2020 NFL Draft and the first steps were taken on Thursday.

With Justin Jefferson and other talented guys still on the board, the Eagles went with Jalen Reagor at No. 21, providing Carson Wentz with one of the most explosive players in the draft.

The former TCU star brings speed, athleticism, and versatility to the Eagles while providing the Birds with a Pro Bowl-caliber return man.

Reagor is already saying the right things, telling 6ABC’s Jeff Skversky that “it’s surreal” to be teammates with Wentz, saying the quarterback’s name “speaks for itself.”

Reagor will be tasked with helping the Eagles offense expand from the 8-yards per carry average they amassed through the air last season.

As was the case with DeSean Jackson, expect Wentz to look deep for Reagor early and often, as the Eagles star signal-caller loves the deep ball.
