Jalen Reagor named a ‘perfect weapon’ for Carson Wentz, and the Eagles player to watch in 2020

The Philadelphia Eagles bypassed several bigger named wide receivers in the NFL Draft to bless Carson Wentz with Jalen Reagor and the future of explosive plays between the two could catapult the Birds to another level in the NFC.

Reagor is a dynamic playmaker and according to NFL.com, the perfect weapon for Wentz and the Eagles.

Newcomer/player returning from injury to watch: Jalen Reagor, wide receiver. The Eagles have needed help at receiver for a while now, but this became particularly noticeable last season, as injuries undercut their potential at the position. When they get back both DeSean Jackson and Alshon Jeffery — the latter of whom is still recovering from Lisfranc surgery — they should be better off, but the most exciting potential exists in Reagor, a possible home-run hitter who excels at making the difficult look easy. His quarterback situation at TCU was abysmal, meaning a pairing with Carson Wentz could prove bountiful for a guy who led all first-round receivers in contested catches made in their respective college careers with 27, per PFF.

Reagor won’t have the benefit of OTA’s or minicamps to get acquainted with Wentz, but with the NFL scrapping preseason games, he’ll have almost two-months of actual onfield time in Philadelphia with the Eagles star signal-caller to help foster some positive chemistry.

Wentz loves the deep-ball and these two could be the perfect match of fireworks and huge plays.
