Jalen Ramsey’s sideline confrontation with Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone doesn’t appear to be an incident that the star cornerback is willing to move past. In fact, he now wants out of Jacksonville.
According to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter (and confirmed by USA TODAY Sports), Ramsey had his agent formally request a trade from the Jaguars on Monday. The incident stemmed from Ramsey being upset that Marrone didn’t challenge a play during the Jaguars’ loss to Houston.
But if the Jaguars actually do go through with what would be a massive trade, Ramsey already has a couple destinations in mind.
Back in August, Ramsey joined the Bussin’ With The Boys podcast with Will Compton and Taylor Lewan. Ramsey was asked where he would like to play (outside of Jacksonville), and he responded with Nashville and Las Vegas.
The podcast was taped in Nashville, so that was the “here” that Ramsey referred to. Ramsey grew up in the Nashville area before attending Florida State.
He also mentioned Las Vegas as an option for when the Raiders move there. He specifically liked how Nevada — like Florida — does not have state income tax.
