Jalen Ramsey made the trip to Denver with the Jags

After being listed as questionable on the team’s final injury report and being absent from the team on Thursday and Friday for the birth of his second daughter, Jalen Ramsey has officially rejoined his teammates. After an initial report surface from Twitter user @E_Dilla of the Bold City Podcast, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network confirmed that Ramsey traveled with the Jacksonville Jaguars to Denver Saturday and has a chance to keep his streak of not missing any regular season games alive.

Ramsey has been one of the biggest topics of discussion for the league after requesting a trade prior to the Jags’ Week 2 loss to the Houston Texans. His request was the result of an incident with Tom Coughlin in which Ramsey left feeling disrespected.

Despite his differences with Coughlin, Ramsey played in the Jags’ last game against the Tennessee Titans, however, he didn’t practice at all this week (but was at the Jags’ facility). The team had Tuesday off, but Ramsey missed Monday with what he believes was the flu, and missed Wednesday with a back injury. Of course, that has led many to speculate about his true status on both days, as some feel his absence had more to do with his trade situation.

If Ramsey can’t go, second-year corner Tre Herndon will likely play in his place. However, if he’s in good shape in terms of physical clearance from the doctors, it’s hard to imagine he’d sit as coach Doug Marrone will likely look to play his best players to break even to a 2-2 record.
