The Philadelphia Eagles (3-3) are less than 24 hours away from a huge NFC East tilt with the Dallas Cowboys (3-3) for first place in the NFC East. It’s a heated and physical rivalry that dates back years, but if you ask one Eagles player, he believes it’s the best thing going today.
After landing in Dallas and arriving at the team hotel, Jalen Mills was asked to give one word on the huge Sunday night matchup.
Looking forward to playing in his first game of this season, an excited Mills called it “the best rivalry in the NFL.”
Mills will make his season debut on Sunday, although he hasn’t been listed on the injury report because he has not been promoted to the 53-man roster after spending the first six weeks on the PUP list.
As for the rivalry, the Cowboys lead the overall series, 68–52.
In last season’s matchups, Dallas handed the Eagles a 27–20 loss during their November tilt and then during the re-match on December 9, 2018, The Cowboys, winner of four straight, defeated the Eagles 29–23 in overtime.
