Jalen Hurts embarrassed the Saints’ defense on a smooth 24-yard touchdown run

Jalen Hurts had one hell of a Sunday for the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Eagles walked away with its first home win in the Nick Sirianni era after dismantling the New Orleans Saints 40-29. A big reason for the Eagles’ success on Sunday is thanks to the feet of Hurts, who scored three touchdowns and picked up 69 total yards with his legs.

Hurts’ longest run came on his last touchdown of the day in a key fourth quarter spot. With four minutes remaining in the game and the Saints starting to cut into the Eagles’ lead, Hurts ran for a very smooth 24-yard touchdown to ice the game for Philadelphia.

And not only that, Hurts put the moves on Carl Granderson with a filthy deke that left the defensive end in the dust.

What a move from Hurts to completely embarrass the Saints’ defense and cut upfield for the Eagles’ final tally of the afternoon. Granderson and the rest of the Saints will absolutely be seeing that move in their nightmares tonight.

With his three rushing touchdowns accumulated on Sunday, Hurts now has eight on the year, which leads the Eagles with six games to play in the 2021 season.
