Jalen Brunson's MRI Shows Clean Results After Knee Injury Scare

Jalen Brunson's MRI revealed no significant knee damage.

An MRI on Jalen Brunson's left knee revealed no significant damage, providing a sigh of relief for the New York Knicks and their fans. Despite the good news, the star guard will still be sidelined for the upcoming game against the Atlanta Hawks as a precautionary measure.

Brunson's injury scare occurred during the Knicks' recent victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers when he went down with what initially seemed to be a serious knee issue. However, post-game evaluations confirmed that it was a knee contusion rather than a more severe injury.

Head coach Tom Thibodeau shared that while Brunson's knee has shown improvement, the team is opting for a careful approach to ensure his full recovery. Thibodeau emphasized the importance of Brunson's well-being, stating, 'It's a lot better than it was, but we just want to make sure that he's completely ready. He had an MRI, and everything came back good.'

Brunson, who has been a standout performer for the Knicks this season with an impressive average of 27.2 points per game, has been instrumental in the team's success amid a series of significant injuries to key players.
