Jake Quickenden convinced that his 13-week-old baby has started to talk

Proud dad Jake Quickenden shared his stunned reaction as his baby boy appeared to talk.

The former Dancing On Ice winner captured on camera an adorable baby Leo responding to Jake as he cradled him.

"Sleepo pants," cooed Jake as he lovingly held his son, and he looked startled as Leo made a noise that sounded like 'yeah.'

At first Jake echoed Leo by saying 'yeah' until he realised what had just happened and swore in surprise.

"Did he just f*****g say 'yeah?'" he asked in the video shared on his Instagram.

"When your 13 week old baby starts to talk.... we have a genius on our hands," he captioned the video with a laughing-face emoji.

And fans were convinced that Leo had spoken.

"It absolutely sounded like he did. Go on the Leo. Haha xxx" said one.

"Sounds like it!" said another.

"He totally said Yeah love him xx" commented another follower.

And another told him: "Baby genius."

But other followers scolded Jake for swearing.

"Can you imagine if he repeated the next thing you said?" asked one.

"Now you have to stop swearing. It’s not easy lol but he will parrot everything you say. You can see he’s trying so hard to make shapes with his mouth to make words. Keep saying dadada. & mumumum," said another.

Jake recently shared a picture to show how much his son had grown.

And the singer, who shot to fame on The X Factor on 2012 and 2014, went on to become a finalist on I'm A Celebrity in 2014 and won Dancing On Ice in 2018, addressed how Leo had been trolled as a newborn.

He wrote next to a photo of Leo at a month old and now: " Say what dad people really called me ugly.... !!

"Leo’s face says it all what a beautiful little boy, growing and changing, so alert and smiling all the time, happy and flourishing!!

"Proud to be his daddy!! Oh by the way I’ve had a baby not sure if I’ve mentioned it!!

"Four weeks old to 13 weeks old... The difference is mad... beautiful then and beautiful now!!!"

Jake, 32, welcomed Leo in February with his girlfriend Sophie Church.

He revealed that he had suffered a panic attack, the first one in a year, down to lack sleep and worrying about Leo and the 'trolling situation' which had got on top of him.

In March he shared a heartbreaking post in which he told of the extent of the trolling towards Leo and called for something to be done about it.

"REAL POST... So in the past week this little man has been told he needs Botox, that he’s ugly as f*** and that he’s weird looking, me myself have also been told stay off social media if you don’t want to be trolled, it’s so baffling to me that I should have to stay off social media if I don’t want my four week old trolled," he wrote.

"I don’t mind people giving me ****, as sad as it is I’ve had to get used to being called 'irrelevant', 'ugly', 'attention seeking' and the list goes on but to troll a innocent child is so wrong and the people doing it seriously need to seek help.

"Also why should I stay off social media if I don’t want him trolled the thought process of some people is shocking, maybe people just shouldn’t troll.

"I enjoy social media it’s full of lovely people who are supportive and I like sharing my ups and downs, I try and be real as possible, but unfortunately there is a dark side of social media and something needs doing about it."
