Since welcoming little Leo with Sophie, 27, who is already mum to son Fred from a previous relationship, Jake has been open with his fans about his struggle to adjust.

Sharing a snap of himself and his baby boy recently, he wrote: “I don’t think anything really prepares you for parenting, it’s the craziest mix of emotions.

"the love I feel is so immense, but then there’s the worry and the sleep deprivation that you never really can prepare yourself for!!”

Jake, who has always been open with his fans, added: “I guess today we are so used to talking about the good things and everything being perfect, it’s a shock when things don’t turn out like that and it’s not all rainbows and unicorns.

“You know what though I wouldn’t change a thing. I love this little Lion like nothing else and will do everything to protect him and make sure he’s ok.”

Jake and Sophie were seen on the show laughing together as they are compared Leo to Sophie’s first child, saying he had hair like Freddie.

Opening up to the cameras, Jake said: "People told me when you see my baby it would be life-changing and you would feel a love you've never felt - and honestly it is.”

Despite keeping it real on social media and sharing the struggles of being a father to a newborn baby, The I’m A Celeb series 14 runner-up has already admitted to wanting to grow his family.

Only this time, he is ready to welcome a baby girl. He said: "I imagine we will try for a little girl after a year or so because I don't want to leave too much of an age gap.

"I know Soph would love a little girl and so would I. It would just complete our family."
