Jake Quickenden has revealed that he refrained from wearing underwear in the I ’m A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! jungle.
Instead, the 32-year-old former campmate would go commando in a bid to save himself from the task of washing his pants.
His confession comes after current campmates Jordan North and AJ Pritchard revealed they had been wearing the same underwear for three days straight in I’m A Celebrity’s Gwrych castle.
Speaking to William Hanson on the hit podcast 'Help I Sexted My Boss’, Jake revealed he took drastic action to avoid having to hand wash his dirty boxers.
“I actually went commando when I was in the jungle, so I didn’t have to wash my pants,” he admitted.
He continued: “I washed my clothes once in three weeks!
“I thought I’d make life easy for myself and just sit in my own filth.”
Jake, who appeared on the 2014 series of the hit ITV reality show, also revealed that he wishes he was in the makeshift jungle this year – and for one very special reason.
The former X Factor star is missing human contact and is jealous of the campmates who are allowed to hug and cuddle one another during their stay at the Welsh castle.
The envious telly star said: “It’s nice seeing them all being around each other and able to touch!
“Someone gave another one a hug, and I was like I wish I was there!"
Speaking about his good pal Jordan North, Jake said that he sees the BBC Radio One DJ making it to the final four.
“He’s so endearing - he owns everything he does,” he gushed.
“He seems really nice and I think he’s going to do really well.
“If I had to call a final four right now, he’d definitely be in it!”
