Jake Paul will call out UFC star in post-fight speech - if he KOs Tyron Woodley

Jake Paul is ready to call out UFC champion Kamaru Usman if he knocks out Tyron Woodley.

The YouTube star makes his fourth professional appearance in the boxing ring against former welterweight champion Woodley on Sunday night.

And while victory is expected to propel Paul into a fight with Tommy Fury, he is ready to make a point of referring to current 170lb UFC champion Usman.

“That’s what I plan on saying in my post-fight win speech after I finish him like, Kamaru Usman, the big bad welterweight couldn’t even finish this guy [Woodley] and I did," Paul told the True Geordie Podcast.

"So I think people will look at that and be like, 'Oh man, what’s going on here? What’s happening?'"

Paul named Usman on his "hit-list" of opponents which also included pound-for-pound boxing king Canelo Alvarez and Conor McGregor.

And the 24-year-old has revealed that he is planning on prioritising a bout with Alvarez, despite exhibition links with McGregor and Floyd Mayweather.

With several UFC stars on his radar to bring over to the boxing ring in crossover events, Paul believes any clash with McGregor is still a "massive" fight and is confident he could deliver a stoppage victory.

“He’s sort of lost that spunk and I think people are kind of second guessing him,” Paul said about McGregor in a recent interview with MMAFighting.

“He’s not the same Conor, that’s for sure, it’s not as interesting, however, I would still just like to beat him up.

"Because I would want him to freak out in the ring and go crazy and lose his s***, I think it would be funny to see him break down like how he did against Dustin Poirier.

"And by the way, it’s still a massive fight."

Paul has also revealed he is personally "topping up the fighter's purses" ahead of his latest boxing exploit against Woodley including British pair Fury and Daniel Dubois.

The press-conference between the YouTuber and Woodley turned sour on Thursday, with a heated row between Paul's team and the former champion's mother which the 24-year-old has refused to apologise for.
