MMA Junkie will have live coverage of tonight’s Showtime boxing event, and you can follow along in here.
The big attraction of the evening is the highly anticipated boxing rematch between YouTube star Jake Paul and former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley, which is scheduled for eight rounds. Paul originally was slated to fight Tommy Fury, but Woodley stepped in on two weeks’ notice after Fury was forced to withdraw because of injury. Paul and Woodley first met this past August, with Paul winning by split decision.
In the co-main event, WBC, WBO, and IBO women’s featherweight champion Amanda Serrano moves up to lightweight to meet Miriam Gutierrez. Also featured on the pay-per-view is a four-round exhibition bout between former NBA All-Star Deron Williams and former NFL Pro-Bowl running back Frank Gore.
