Jake Paul Vs Mike Tyson Fight Origins Revealed In Debate

Jake Paul says Mike Tyson was not his first choice for Netflix fight

The highly anticipated fight between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson has been making headlines, with conflicting reports emerging about how the matchup came to be. Jake Paul's brother, Logan, claimed that he was initially offered the opportunity to fight Tyson but turned it down due to insufficient financial incentives. However, Jake Paul refuted these claims, stating that they were the ones who brought the deal to Mike Tyson through Most Valuable Promotions and their partner Nakisa, eventually striking a deal with Netflix.

Initially, Jake Paul had set his sights on fighting Tommy Fury, but Fury demanded more money, leading Paul to pursue the fight with Tyson instead. Despite the back-and-forth negotiations, the fight between Paul and Tyson is set to take place on July 20 and will be streamed on Netflix. Tyson, who will be 58 at the time of the fight, has generated significant buzz around the event.

However, boxer Derek Chisora has raised concerns about the fight, alleging that both competitors will be required to wear headgear and use larger-than-usual 18oz gloves. These specifications could potentially impact the dynamics of the fight and alter viewers' expectations.

While the Paul vs Tyson matchup has captured the attention of millions, the conflicting narratives surrounding its origins and the potential rule changes introduced by Chisora add an intriguing layer of complexity to the highly anticipated event.
