Jake Paul trolled for wearing 'fake watch' while posing with $500,000 belt

Jake Paul has been accused of wearing a fake Richard Mille watch despite posing with his new belt worth $500,000.

Paul looks for his fifth win as a professional boxer when he rematches Tyron Woodley on Saturday in Tampa, Florida.

The 24-year-old gifted himself with a 'Most Valuable Boxer' belt that features diamond watches and a Hermes Birkin bag as side plates.

But Paul has been told by an Instagram page called "FakeWatchBuster" that his Richard Mille watch is fake.

The Richard Mille RM055 Bubba Watson watch Paul is wearing in the picture sells for around $520,000.

The page listed several features of Paul's watch as being different to a real one, such as the thickness and shape of the case as well as the screws on the strap.

Paul has since been trolled by fellow boxer Gervonta Davis for wearing the watch, with the three-weight world champion mocking him on Instagram.

Davis was included on Paul's "hit list" of opponents he plans to fight on his quest to becoming a world titleholder in the sport, despite weighing 50lbs less than him.

Speaking on the 'Full Send' podcast, the lightweight star labelled Paul a "clown" who can't fight and said he would laugh if his team ever presented him with the opportunity.

Davis also explained why he wouldn't entertain fights with YouTube stars such as Paul at this stage in his career.

"I feel as though in my career I can't do that right now. Why I say that is because I ain't put in enough work," he said.

"I ain't a Floyd Mayweather, I ain't no Manny Pacquiao or no Canelo. I still got to actually put the work in.

"That's like me in eighth grade trying to do something out of this world to somebody who's already done their school work, I still have to have my foot on the gas.

"If I do that right now they're going to look at me as a joke just as much as they look at Jake Paul [as a joke]."

Davis extended his unbeaten run to 26 fights earlier this year, going the distance for the first time in seven years when he outpointed Isaac Cruz.

'Tank' fought through a hand injury in the sixth round to get the win, but Paul wasn't impressed with his rival's ability to overcome adversity.

When asked about Davis' performance during a media call, he said: "I thought he lost."

"He didn’t throw, or he says he hurt his left hand or whatever - he didn’t throw a single left and some of the judges gave those rounds to him.

"It doesn’t make any sense, he calls me a clown but he had a clown performance.”
