Jake Paul has taken another step towards legitimizing his boxing career by signing a new deal to fight on Showtime Boxing in the United States.
The YouTube star is 3-0 as a professional, and will make his return to the ring on the same network as Floyd Mayweather and the Charlo Brothers later this year.
His last fight took place on the new Triller Fight Club promotion, and it appeared after selling a reported 1.5 million pay-per-views that Paul would stick with the fledgling company.
However, ESPN has confirmed that he has signed a multi-fight deal with the massive TV network - who put on Floyd Mayweather's massive PPV fights with Conor McGregor and Manny Pacquiao and will also air the boxing legend's exhibition with Logan Paul next month.
Paul confirmed the news on his Twitter page, saying 'it's showtime' in response to the announcement.

This will be the third boxing promotion Paul has fought under in his young pro career; he debuted under Eddie Hearn's Matchroom Boxing banner against fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib early last year before fighting twice with Triller.
"Jake is proud of the events he participated in with Triller and appreciates the opportunities they afforded him," his manager Nakisa Bidarian told ESPN.
"Jake is excited to continue his boxing career with Showtime Boxing. - fight announcement coming soon."
Triller Fight Club president Ryan Kavanaugh also told ESPN that they would not be moving forward with their relationship with Paul, saying: "We love Jake and I wish him the absolute best.
"We had our two fights with him - I think for us, we've gone the distance with him that we can go. We won't be doing any more Jake fights."
Showtime also airs Bellator MMA, where Paul's long-time rival Dillon Danis is signed to a multiple-fight deal, and the crossover fight appears to be one step closer after this news.
Paul's older brother, fellow social media star Logan, will face 50-0 boxing legend Mayweather in the main event of a PPV event that features Badou Jack v Jean Pascal 2 and a number of other top fights, which will be shown on Sky Sports in the UK.
Training camp will resume shortly for the 24-year-old Ohio native, with trainer and former world title contender BJ Flores set to fly to Puerto Rico to join him as he helps to prepare his brother for the bizarre exhibition fight, from which he is reportedly banned.
