Jake Paul sends warning to Nate Diaz ahead of potential brothers vs brothers fight card

Jake Paul has promised to defeat Nate Diaz with the UFC star and his brother Nick targeting a sibling showdown next year.

Paul will take on bitter rival Tommy Fury in his latest boxing exploit next month in Florida.

But a victory could spark another crossover bout with Diaz with Paul having previously defeated former UFC stars Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley.

Although with the Diaz brothers promising to end the Pauls' boxing careers, Paul has slammed Diaz's punching ability and promised to "slap" him in the squared circle.

"By whose account [does Nate have the best hands in the UFC]?," Paul told TMZ Sports. "He's got the best hands? Who said that?

"Bro, this guy's got like 40 losses on his record. For sure [I want to fight him], I'm going to beat him into a pulp, no problem, no issues. I'm going to Stockton slap the s*** out of that b****."

Sources have indicated that Diaz and his brother Nick are creating a promotional label with the plan to compete on it after the completion of their endeavours in the UFC.

And they will be present at Paul's showdown with Fury later this year to support teammate Chris Avila who will take on Paul's sparring partner Anthony Taylor.

So a confrontation between the sibling pairs will be very likely and could generate hype for Paul's next contest, similarly to the nature of his hallway altercation with Fury in Cleveland.

Diaz's older brother Nick is reportedly searching for another challenge after suffering defeat to previous rival Robbie Lawler on his long-awaited UFC comeback.

But he may look to face Paul's brother Logan who has refused to rule out a fight with Mike Tyson.

However the more likely scenario would see Jake face Nate with the pair having feuded ever since the 24-year-old included Diaz on his "hit-list".

Former UFC athlete Josh Thomson has backed Diaz to complete the final fight on his UFC contract and challenge Paul in the boxing ring.

He told ' Weighing In ': "He's leaving the UFC, he's fighting Jake Paul. Just stop, ok. This is his last fight, he's not fighting in the UFC anymore. He's gonna leave and he's gonna fight Jake Paul.

"He's just trying to get a fight to get out the door, he's done with MMA. He knows that fight is gonna make him double then he'd make [against McGregor].

"Conor's not that draw anymore that he once was. Conor can't get out of his contract, he's on an eight or ten fight deal I believe. So he's stuck with the UFC forever.

"Speaking from a Nate point of view, I think Nate's gonna leave and end up fighting Jake Paul in boxing."
