Jake Paul sends three-word message to Tommy Fury after backstage confrontation

Jake Paul says 'little kid' Tommy Fury is not ready for the big stage after their confrontation earlier this year.

The two met face-to-face for the first time after they both won their respective matches on the same card in August, with Fury defeating Paul's sparring partner Anthony Taylor and Paul getting the victory over UFC fighter Tyron Woodley.

Paul and Fury then struck an agreement for a fight on December 18 to be staged in Tampa, Florida.

But earlier this week that Fury pulled out of the fiercely-anticipated bout due to having a broken rib and bacterial chest infection. Paul will now face Woodley in a rematch on the same night.

Speaking to his brother Logan Paul and friend Mike Majlak on their Impaulsive podcast, the YouTuber-turned-boxer said: "Yeah I saw a little kid (Fury) who isn't ready for this, the lights, the camera and the action.

"He was standing in that back hallway waiting for me to get his little moment on camera.

"He had no idea what he was getting himself involved with and I mean that like deeply, he f***** up by doing this."

Fury posted an video on his social media pages apologising to his fans for pulling out of the fight, and said hopes to reschedule it for next year - which Paul is open to doing.

But Paul claims Fury - as well as half-brother Tyson and dad John - did little to promote the fight.

"He (Fury) didn't show up to the press conference then he pulled out of the fight," said Paul. "He's done a terrible job of promoting the fight we had; he posted on social media once every other week.

"He's not as hype as everyone thought and I'm p***** off now. I don't like him and I don't want anything to do with the family.

"I think they're sketchy and they're shady and I don't really see a reason to come back next year and give him that big of an opportunity and that big a pay day.

"It would almost be more fun and more satisfying to leave him the dust and let him fight until he's 25-0 to get the same pay day as he was getting in his eighth fight."
