Jake Paul sends ‘Sleepy McGregor’ chain to Dustin Poirier: “Good always beats evil!”

It appears Jake Paul is keeping his word.

Thursday afternoon, the YouTuber-turned-professional-boxer posted an update to his social media accounts saying that he was finally sending Dustin Poirier the “Sleepy McGregor” chain as previously promised.

A busy week with a press conference ahead of his upcoming boxing match with former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley apparently delayed Paul’s trip to FedEx to send the chain Poirier’s way.

If creating a chain mocking McGregor’s knockout loss from the second Poirier fight wasn’t enough, Paul stated in a media scrum after the press conference with Woodley that McGregor, “needs Jake Paul more than I need him.”

Paul penned a note to Poirier titled “Sleepy McGregor” to accompany the gift:

Dear Dustin,

Congrats for your much earned victory. I love what your are doing with your Good Fight Foundation! You deserve this chain more than me! Good always beats evil! Keep winning!

– Love Jake

P.S Tell Jolie I said Hi – She’s a badass!

Apparently, Poirier is about to be the recipient of a brand new expensive piece of jewelry created by Benny Da Jeweler, a celebrity jeweler who has created countless pieces of diamond-encrusted chains and watches for rappers and celebrities.

According to the jeweler, the hand-painted enamel charm and matching tennis chain contains over 500 grams in white gold with multiple VVS diamonds that cost Paul $100,000.

Paul’s troll jewelry piece has turned into a generous expensive donation to Poirier.
