Jake Paul sends fight offers to three opponents for February ring return

Jake Paul will today send fight offers to three potential opponents after confirming he will return to action next February.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer is 6-0 as a professional, sprinting to his first few wins in 2020 and 2021 before being forced out for almost the entirety of this year due to fight cancellations and other obligations. But he wants to return to frequent activity, and plans to be back out in February, just four months after beating Anderson Silva.

It has seemed Paul is looking to finally agree a deal with Tommy Fury to settle their feud in the ring after two previous meetings were cancelled in December and August. And talks have been progressing between the camps after the pair's altercation earlier this month in Dubai when the American was on commentary for his rival's exhibition bout with Rolly Lambert.

But it now seems the unbeaten social media star is looking at other options, telling fans yesterday he is sending offers out today to multiple opponents. He was responding to a tweet about his wealth in comparison with other top fighters such as Conor McGregor and Tyson Fury when he made the confirmation.

"Next fight in February," he wrote in a message responding to a n article where he was listed as one of combat sport's top earners - after noting that he is just 25, relative to McGregor, Fury and Canelo Alvarez who are all in their 30s. "Offers out tomorrow to three potential opponents."

Other options for Paul seem, at the moment, few and far between given that his next fight is almost certain to be against a legitimate professional boxer. Silva, who he beat by unanimous decision last month, was his first opponent with any sort of boxing record, but at 47-years-old is viewed as far past his prime, which he spent in MMA, not boxing.

Only one of Paul's previous opponents has gone on to box since he fought them; YouTube star AnEsonGib won his fights against Tayler Holder and Austin McBroom after being stopped in a round by the American. And he was the only fighter on his record who had boxed at any level previously, going 2-0 in white collar bouts with other social media stars.

He has also been flirting with the possibility of putting together a fight with former kick-boxing world champion Andrew Tate, but the 35-year-old hasn't fought in years . The pair went viral with a set of face-offs in Dubai recently and are two of the biggest names on social media, as well as being experienced fighters.
