Jake Paul's withering response as Floyd Mayweather starts training Tyron Woodley

Jake Paul has dismissed the addition of Floyd Mayweather to Tyron Woodley's training camp.

Former UFC welterweight Woodley posted a number of photos with Mayweather on social media with the caption, "Bank robbery in progress, y'all f***ed up! It's stuck now!"

But Paul doesn't appear to be concerned about Woodley's new training plan, sharing a number of posts on Twitter in response to the pictures.

He commented on one by saying "shiver me timbers", and comparing photos of Woodley with Mayweather to a picture shared of the boxing star with Nate Robinson prior to their fight in November.

Paul stopped Robinson with a brutal KO in the second round of their fight on the undercard of Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr which took place towards the end of last year.

The YouTube star followed that post with a number of photoshopped images showing Mayweather and Woodley at a retirement home.

In one, he accused Mayweather of failing to pay taxes, and joked that he had "ruined his legacy" by being sent to retirement by the elder Paul brother Logan in their exhibition bout last month.

Paul is currently in training for his fourth professional bout against Woodley, having stopped his first three opponents within two rounds.

Woodley is seen as his strongest opponent to date, with a proven track record on his feet in MMA, but Paul is still being favoured due to his boxing experience.

There is also a sizeable difference in height and reach between the pair, with Paul nearly three inches taller than opponent.

The younger Paul brother has set up shop in Dorado, Puerto Rico, where he is working with long-time head coach BJ Flores and renowned boxer J'Leon Love.

And Mirror Fighting also understands that he has been sparring with undefeated Puerto Rican prospect Patrick Cora, who is 10-0 with 7 KOs since turning professional in 2017.

Cora has been unable to fight since the coronavirus pandemic began, but looked in decent shape in photographs shared of the pair after a session earlier this week.

Paul has also flown in former Bellator MMA fighter Anthony 'Pretty Boy' Taylor to assist in camp after the pair sparred in the lead-up to his fight with Askren in April.

The California native is 7-5 inside the cage and is currently on a five-fight win streak that includes scalps over former UFC fighter Chris Avila and newly-signed welterweight prospect Dean Barry, following a rocky start to his career.

The pair exchanged harsh words on social media and in the press after their spar, but it appears that the feud is settled, with Flores saying he is a "great addition to the camp" in an Instagram post after drafting the MMA fighter back in.

Paul posted a brief few seconds of sparring footage on his Instagram page on Monday night, with over 2.3million people viewing the video, which showed what he's been up to in Puerto Rico.
