Jake Paul’s perfect response to Dustin Poirier’s fight demand

Jake Paul is on the hunt for his next opponent after knocking out Ben Askren in the first round - and has had no shortage of offers.

The MMA community in particular has been vocal in calling out the YouTube star who won his third fight as a professional.

Paul dispatched Askren with ease with his first sustained attack of the fight, dropping the former UFC fighter before the referee waved the bout off.

Various fighters are now vying for the opportunity to take on Paul, especially after learning Askren had earned $500,000 for his two minutes of action.

But when UFC star Dustin Poirier called on Paul to face fellow MMA fighter Mike Perry next, Paul had a well-timed response.

The social media star posted a video from what appeared to be the aftermath of a sparring session, in which Perry said: "You kicked my a**".

Paul tweeted: "He was light work. In his own words 'you kicked my a**'. I want to see Jake Paul vs Dustin Prober."

Speaking after beating Askren, Paul downplayed suggestions he will fight a professional boxer next.

He said: "I don't know, man. I'm going to do whatever I want. I don't know what's next for me.

"I've been going for 14 months fighting three times, I talked a lot of s**t, I don't know what's next. I'm going to just enjoy my life for a minute.

On the prospect of fighting either Joe Fournier, Dillon Danis or Tyron Woodley, Paul had a typically brash response.

He replied: "I honestly don't know who any of those people are. Please don't ask me any dumb questions."

One professional boxer who does want to fight Paul is Tommy Fury who called out the 24-year-old again yesterday.

Fury, brother of heavyweight world champion Tyson, has repeatedly said he would be willing to face Paul.

And his challenge was accepted - on the condition his brother also fights on the card against heavyweight contender Michael Hunter.
