Jake Paul 's girlfriend Julia Rose has teased that the couple has got married after recently changing her name on social media.
Rose and Paul have been dating on and off since the beginning of last year. This week, Rose changed her handle on Instagram to "juliarosepaul" which has raised the question of whether the two have taken their relationship to the next step.
During the last press conference for Paul's fight with former UFC champion Tyron Woodley, which takes place this Sunday, Paul shouted out his "girlfriend" Rose and also referenced Women's Equality Day.
"Today is actually Women's Equality Day. So I told my mom how much I love her. I told my girlfriend, she's right there, how much I love her. Shout out to all the amazing women out there," Paul said.
Despite Rose teasing the news, it would seem that Paul and his partner are by no means married. As he recently told The 3 Things to Know podcast : “We are not married. But I see that coming, for sure.
“I got her a nice promise-ring-slash-pre-engagement ring. I plan on proposing sometime soon. But we’ll see what happens.
“We’re in love. It’s pretty dope.”
Paul is set for the biggest challenge of his boxing career so far when he fights Woodley this weekend. The internet star turned pugilist has stopped all three of his past opponents inside the ring.
After cruising past fellow YouTuber AnEsongib and former NBA star Nate Robinson, Paul went on to knockout former UFC welterweight Ben Askren last November.
A longtime teammate of Askren's, Woodley was in attendance for the fight and exchanged words with Paul and his entourage. Ending his UFC career without a win in four fights, Woodley signed a contract to fight Paul in May.
But despite the step up in competition, Paul thinks he will make quick work of Woodley.

"Before this camp, I said three [rounds] and now I'm thinking max two. But to be honest, something in my heart tells me it's going to be another one round fight As crazy as that sounds, I think it's going to be a very very short night for Tyron," Paul told Sky Sports.
"Let's hope Tyron is very very prepared and is a lot better than I expected. Because then the fight will go into the later rounds where I am actually a better fighter."
Tommy Fury, the cousin of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, will hope to set up a fight with Paul when he faces MMA fighter Anthony Taylor on the undercard.
Elsewhere on the card, which will take place live on Showtime pay-per-view, British heavyweight Daniel Dubois will make his US debut against Joe Cusumano and seven-division champion Amanda Serrano fights Yamileth Mercado.
