Jake Paul has offered Tommy Fury a portion of his own money to try and set up a fight between the two later this year.
Paul has been gunning for a fight with Fury since outpointing former UFC champ Tyron Woodley in Cleveland last month.
Fury defeated Paul's sparring partner Anthony Taylor on the same night, extending his unbeaten run to seven fights.
And Paul has accused Fury of turning down two offers to fight him in what would be career-high paydays for the Brit.
Nakisa Bidarian - a former chief financial officer of the UFC and Paul's current advisor - said the additional offer of Paul's money was not planned.
He told SunSport : "Even what Jake put out yesterday, that was not something that was agreed between us and Showtime.
"That was Jake saying to me yesterday, 'I'm going to come out of my own pocket and increase this, because I want to try and get this done'.
"The offer is of course a base purse, plus pay-per-view participation in the UK, which is really the market he has any relevance in.
"And pay-per-view participation in the US. So, the upside is there if the fight performs."
Paul vs Woodley sold old around 500,000 buys on Showtime PPV, falling short of the one million buys that Logan Paul vs Floyd Mayweather sold in June.
The fight was Paul's first on Showtime, having previously fought now-retired UFC star Ben Askren on streaming service Triller in April.

Paul wants to face "actual boxers" like Fury rather than MMA fighters who are nearing the end of their careers, such as Woodley and Askren.
'The Problem Child' has issued a final offer to Fury which he states is four times the highest purse of his boxing career so far.
He said in a recent Twitter video: "This is the last time I'm speaking about this guy if we don't end up fighting. Because I'm starting to get p***** off. Tommy Fury is about to fumble the biggest bag of his life. Tommy, I made you famous.
"I gave you the biggest payday of your life. You came to the US, got your US debut for your dream to come true. I gave you the chance to shine in front of the whole entire world and now I'm offering to quadruple the biggest payday of your life.
"Take the fight Tommy, you're too busy taking molly instead of taking fights. Tommy, no one gives a f*** about you if it wasn't for your older brother, who I respect, or your catfish girlfriend."
