Jake Paul's girlfriend challenges Tommy Fury's partner to bet ahead of grudge fight

Jake Paul’s girlfriend Julia Rose challenged Tommy Fury’s partner Molly-Mae Hague to a wager after the highly-anticipated grudge match between the two personalities was announced.

Paul is set to fight Fury, who has won each of his seven professional fights to date, on December 18 in Tampa Bay, Florida. The fight will take place over eight rounds at a 192lb catchweight.

After the fight was announced, Molly-Mae took to social media to send her support to her boyfriend.

“Time to get the job done baby…”, she posted on Twitter along with an emoji.

Julia Rose, who has been dating Paul on-and-off since they began seeing each other in 2020, shared Molly-Mae’s post with an additional comment: “Alright…let’s make a bet then."

It was accompanied with an emoji appearing to hush its mouth.

Details emerged that Fury accepted the condition inserted by Paul to change his name to ‘Tommy Fumbles’ if he is beaten by the controversial content creator, with the full deal set to earn the Brit £1.5million if he wins.

After the Love Island star agreed, Paul celebrated and took to Instagram to ridicule his opponent.

“Ladies and gentlemen, the bank robbery has commenced,” the 24-year-old told his 17.5m followers before Fury shared a clip of himself knocking an opponent out and a photo of Paul crying after his brother Logan lost to KSI in 2019.

Naturally, the American responded with a series of odd videos on his Instagram story and said: “Ever since the Boston tea party, America has been s***ting on Great Britain.”

Paul leaked the contract but censored lots of it for legal reasons, showing Paul offering Fury the massive sum to change his name within a month of the bout. It reads, in part: “If Fury is declared the winner of the Bout, Paul hereby agrees to pay Fury Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($500,000.00) directly from Paul's purse as an additional fighter bonus.”

It continues to say that should Fury lose the match, he would have to legally change his name for a minimum of one year, as well as changing his social media names to reflect the change and appear with his new name at the post-fight press conference.

Both men are undefeated, with Fury fighting seven times to Paul’s four after the YouTuber turned professional last year. The Brit holds a record of 7-0 but has fought limited opposition since turning professional in 2018. Meanwhile, Paul defeated fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib, former NBA star Nate Robinson, retired MMA star Ben Askren and former UFC champion Tyron Woodley.

Fury, who is the younger brother of heavyweight world champion Tyson, has also fought limited opposition but insisted recently that Paul will not be his toughest challenge to date.

Paul and Fury will meet face-to-face in Las Vegas next Saturday on November 6, the same day Canelo Alvarez takes on Caleb Plant in the same city.

The rivals will also meet two days later in Florida with tickets going on sale on November 10.
