Jake Paul's chilling two-word message to Tyron Woodley during heated staredown

Jake Paul stared into Tyron Woodley's soul and told him: "You're dead".

YouTube star Paul will take on the former UFC welterweight world champion tonight in his fourth professional fight.

And he escalated the bubbling tension between the rivals during last night's ceremonial weigh-ins.

Having scaled the 190lb catch-weight limit earlier in the day, Paul had a message for Woodley during their final face-off.

"I said you’re dead," he said. "That was it. I tried to grab his cheeks."

Paul proceeded to eat fried chicken on stage before throwing pieces in Woodley's direction. He then tried to grab his opponent's cap, just as he did with Floyd Mayweather earlier this year.

He failed and chaos ensued as both teams made a move for the other before the heavy security detail intervened.

Earlier, Woodley, who had scaled 189.5lb, said: "It’s over. That’s all I can think about, it’s over. I’m about to go big in every level, every plane, every category.

"He’s shaking, he’s quivering, and this dude he should be because I’m about to hurt him in a way he never felt before - and that’s on Mama Woodley."

Woodley was referring to an incident following Thursday's press conference when a member of Paul's team upset the former MMA star's mother.

'DCUT', a member of Paul's entourage, was seen aiming insults at Woodley's mum and later said: "I'm not sorry.

"I'm not sorry because I didn't do anything wrong. But my team, we talked and made sure to use a different approach next time. There are different professional approaches we could have taken, but at the end of the day, I'm not sorry. I did what I did.

"Obviously, everyone in here is cheering who they're going for. And, you know, we're strong Jake Paul fans over here. We worked hard for this and we sacrificed everything for our guy. So, you know, we're gonna cheer for our guy."

Paul was also unrepentant, saying: “Hell no – we’re not sorry; we’re not sorry at all.

"Should we not have done it? Maybe. But we’re not sorry. Of course [he didn't want the altercation to take place]. This is Women’s Equality Day.

"If it was literally anything else, I’m just sitting there talking about how much I love my mum, how much I love my girlfriend, and of course, there has to be an altercation involving females.

"It sucks. Just everything about it just looks messy. We’re trying to have a professional event here, and now things are more personal.

"We' re probably going to need more security at all these places - things just aren’t cordial anymore. Tensions will definitely be higher going into this fight.”
