Jake Paul rips Conor McGregor after UFC 264 loss, offers $23 for fight

Jake Paul predictably rubbed salt into the wound following Conor McGregor’s loss to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264.

Paul, who has repeatedly stated he intends to face McGregor in a boxing match in the future, was keeping a close eye on Saturday’s headliner at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. “The Notorious” suffered a first-round TKO loss to Poirier, suffering a broken tibia toward the end of the first round that prevented him from continuing.

Rarely one to take the high road, Paul reacted to McGregor loss on social media, and indicated the value of fighting him has dropped significantly (via Twitter):

Following the loss to Poirier (28-6 MMA, 20-5 UFC) in the anticipated trilogy bout, McGregor’s (22-6 MMA, 10-4 UFC) injuries were confirmed, and it remains unknown how long he’ll be on the sidelines with surgery set for Sunday morning.

The Irishman remains under UFC contract, so a future bout with Paul remains unlikely. However, that hasn’t stopped Paul from taking shots at him.

Paul is currently scheduled for a boxing match with Tyron Woodley under the Showtime banner on Aug. 29.
