Jake Paul has admitted he respects Tyron Woodley for having "I love Jake Paul " tattooed on his finger - despite the fact the ink has faded.
The rivals made a pre-fight bet before their original meeting in August which would see Woodley have the tattoo inked if he lost the fight.
And after he came up short by split decision in August, Woodley followed through with the wager before being handed a rematch when Tommy Fury pulled out last week.
However Woodley revealed his tattoo was fading during a sit-down with Paul to which the YouTube star admitted he still was impressed that he kept his word.
"It is what it is," Paul responded when asked about the faded tattoo. "He had it at one point so I guess it counts and that's all that really matters I guess.
"He still had 'I love Jake Paul' inked on him and it was a bet and he took the bet. He is a man of his word so I respect that."
Woodley had his tattoo inked in a bid to revive a rematch bid but it did not meet the conditions of their pre-fight bet due to it's size.
Paul instead pursued Fury and had a fight in place for this Saturday, which later collapsed with Fury withdrawing due to a chest infection and broken rib.
However retired MMA star Woodley will now have his shot at revenge in Florida after remaining in training in anticipation of the pull-out.
Woodley was disappointed with the judges scorecards in Cleveland earlier this year where he thought he was unlucky to not have been handed the decision.
The former UFC champion had his opponent sprawling on to the ropes in the fourth stanza but he was unable to secure a stoppage.

Despite the late notice, Woodley has since revealed his desire to grab his second opportunity with both hands.
"My thoughts when I got the call were that things happen for a reason," Woodley said.
"I think that this is all a part of alignment, there's been times in my MMA career where a fight gets done and we go 'I need a break, I want a vacation and to stay down low' because a training camp takes a lot of energy, time and PR.
"It didn't make a lot of sense, I didn't think people were as excited about the Tommy Fury fight as they were about me and Jake, so I flew my coaches into town at the end of September.
"I said 'I know this fight isn't going to happen, my spirit is telling me it's not going to happen' and we started training. I'm just excited about the opportunity to go out here and redeem myself, we found out a lot about each other that night in the ring.
"There's some mutual respect but there's still unfinished business."
