Jake Paul predicts first round knockout of Tyron Woodley in upcoming bout

Jake Paul will be surprised if Tyron Woodley makes it out of the first round of their fight on August 29.

Paul will face Woodley in the main event of Triller Fight Club on August 29. The event will air exclusively on Showtime PPV and cost around £43.

The fight will be Woodley's first professional appearance in the ring. A former UFC welterweight champion, Woodley lost his last four fights before parting ways with the promotion in April.

Talking recently with Sky Sports, Paul said his training for the fight has been going great and believes Woodley will be in for a short night on August 29.

"Before this camp, I said three [rounds] and now I'm thinking max two. But to be honest, something in my heart tells me it's going to be another one round fight As crazy as that sounds, I think it's going to be a very very short night for Tyron," Paul said.

"Let's hope Tyron is very very prepared and is a lot better than I expected. Because then the fight will go into the later rounds where I am actually a better fighter.

"In sparring, the first couple rounds I'm usually getting warmed up and I come alive in the back half of a fight. I haven't even got to warm up in a fight yet and I haven't been hit in a fight yet."

Paul has won three fights as a professional, with only one of his opponents making it out of the first round.

After knocking out YouTube star AnEsonGib and former NBA point guard Nate Robinson, Paul made quick work of former UFC welterweight Ben Askren in the first round this past April.

'The Problem Child' thinks that he is a natural born fighter and has raw power, which is why all of his fights have ended so early.

"I'm just built different. I have something inside of me that is just a natural born fighter with natural power. You can teach a lot of things but you can't teach speed and power. I think that's why my fights have ended so early," Paul said.

"With those 10 oz grant gloves, I just rip them back and the knuckles are at the front of the glove. There's no way these people's heads can deal with this damage."

The August 29 event will also feature a fight between Tommy Fury and Anthony Taylor. Tommy, who is the half-brother of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, was linked to a fight with Paul earlier this year.

Elsewhere on the card, Daniel Dubois will look for his second win on the bounce after his loss to Joe Joyce when he fights Joe Cusumano.
