Jake Paul offers to send $1,000 to KSI after rivals were involved in heated row

Jake Paul has promised to send KSI $1,000 for winning his Twitter giveaway with the Brit accusing his YouTube rival of being "desperate" to create hype before his upcoming fight.

Paul, who fights Hasim Rahman Jr on August 6, offered fans the chance to win $1000 for liking and retweeting a post which included a trailer for his fight with Rahman. "$1000 to someone who like & retweets this tweet," he posted. KSI wrote back to his rival by mocking the pay-per-view cost of the fight. "60 PPV. I PROMISE you all that my PPV this August 27th will be less than that.

KSI is scheduled to fight for the first time in almost three years on August 27 when he takes on Alex Wassabi. Paul then wrote back to his YouTube rival: "No s*** dummy. You have one “win”. I have five. Coming off of KO of the year. You’re fighting an influencer. I’m fighting a 12-1 legit boxer. We are not the same. You shouldn’t charge more than $10."

KSI then criticised Paul's original $1000 giveaway tweet again, writing: "Don’t think we don’t see how desperate this looks. No one cares, so you gotta pay to create hype lmao." Paul then stated the Brit had won the $1000 prize, replying: "Thanks for the retweet “KSI” you’ve won the $1000 contest" whilst adding a picture of a text he sent to Logan asking for KSI's cash app details.

Paul, who has ditched his YouTube career to focus on boxing, took aim at KSI for still making videos on the platform whilst boasting about earning $45million last year. KSI then told Paul to keep the $1000 prize to "pay people" to attend his fight buddy. The Brit also accused Paul of not caring about the platform that served as the foundation for his fame.

"Nah you still don’t get it. You didn’t care about the platform [YouTube] that made you who you are. Constantly denouncing it. I never did. I’m happy to say I’m a YouTuber to this day because now I can do/be whatever I want. I’m thinking long term my guy. You failed at this," KSI wrote.

"My YouTube channels. Sidemen YouTube channels. Sides. XIX Vodka. Music/Tours. Prime hydration. Adidas. Misfits Boxing," KSI wrote as he listed off all of his business ventures. Paul issued another putdown of KSI for bringing up his YouTube success, replying: "This dude is pushing 30 years old flexing his collection of YouTube channels".
